Whooo Hooo, I just love surprises! I'm looking forward to hearing the details.

I'm with you on the golf thing. I did it once and it was pretty boring. All that standing around without talking, walking for what seems like miles, and getting a sun burn---well I can think of several things that are much more enjoyable.

They don't even let you talk?

It is clear that I wouldn't last five minutes at a golfing tournament. I'm very secure in saying that I'm okay with that.

Have fun doing your less snoozey things!

I dated a golf pro for three years and finally had to break up with him - I said I was too loud to be a golf girlfriend.

Oh, and envious is what I am that you will be in Sonoma. Drink some for me!

If you find a great agent let me know. I'm doing the same thing. :)
Have fun!

Currently on my knees thanking God that watching golf is not my Hubby's idea of a good time!

Have fun with your girlfriends! And the wine country.

Oh, I'm excited for you with your progress on getting your book published! Hope you have a great time and drink lots of good wine.

Ooh, drink something yummy for me! Better yet, spread that wino buzz all over the Internet so we can all have a virtual buzz.

I would love it if you DID go to the stuffy golf tournament and ruffle some ugly-pants feathers, because it sounds like it could be another great episode in The Wild and Wacky Adventures of JoAnn. 'Specially if a certain Irish rock star was rumored to be attending the golf thingy... ;-)

Sounds fun. Well, everything but the golf part. I too have been MIA on the internet these days due to finding new job. I'll be working at a brand spanking new Paula Deen resturant in a nearby casino. Should make for lots of great blog fodder!!
Hope all your querying goes well! Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a glass of wine for me!

Have a wonderful time with your girlfriends. I've just come back from a weekend in Seattle with my friend. It was great, and did not involve even one hole of golf. Just lots of talking and good food. And beautiful weather, oddly enough. Wishing the same for you. California has been very obliging with her weather lately.

Golf has to be one of the most boring sports to watch. I would be, oh don't you shhh me!

Have fun in Sonoma. I expect you will. I would love to go sometime. It just look majestic.

Oh and you will be picked. I can feel it in my bones!

A pink blimp would make me so happy.

Sending up a prayer for you to find the right agent! Such an exciting time (and, I'm sure, scary, frustrating, and any number of other adjectives).

PS - Golf is boring and not being able to talk is ridiculous. But... I want one of those 'Hush' paddles for home.

Hooray for you! I am sure you will be picked first rather than last as I always was at every sport. It's why I subsituted choir for PE in high school.
One day, I will grow up and try to woo an agent.

Hope you find your soulmate/agent soon!

Oh my girl.

I have every finger and toe crossed for you.

But you won't need it.

Because you are spectacular.

The agents will be falling all over you. Just like the men...

(And us.)

Thinking good good good thoughts!!

And also...Himself used to ride a Harley. He occasionally becomes nostalgic for his old ride.

So we came to an agreement.

When he buys a motorcycle, I get to start dating other men.

You know, so I can get a jump on finding my next husband once I become a widow.

So far...no bike.

As spotty as Gisele's brain... ha, love it... man that woman needs a sandwich. And a percocet.

Good luck on your "dating"....!

Hubs has been watching that tournament. If I had known I could have caught you getting in trouble chatting in the gallery, I would have paid attention.

Cheers to you!! XO

I can't wait to see all the treasures your querying turns up.
