I'm so happy you're back and that your blog is looking purdy again!

Hurray for your angel! I hope things go well with the mama recovering and the m-i-l and her issues. Try and remember to focus on yourself a little bit. You have nothing to give if you don't replenish and refill your own cup once in a while. (Advice from one nurturer caregiver to another)

Love the cup!

Ami said...

So hard to focus on yourself when there are so many other things needing your attention, isn't it?

Glad you got your bloggy back.. but I'm sorry. I don't like Snoop.

Still like you, though.

Sending good thoughts for your mom. and your mother in law. And you and yours.

Shell said...

Oh, my! I'm so glad you got your blog back! How horrible that she would do that. Grrrrr!

Cheryl said...

SO glad you're back and looking all pink and beautiful again!

I can't believe that woman would scam people. What's going on in her small brain?

BNM said...

i cant believe someone done that grrr.. thankfully tina fixed it for you that was really nice of her :) Hope the "me" time works out for you.. wish my hubs would do that haha

I'm still in shock learning this . Why? I am so naive I think too.

And when I clicked here and saw all the mess I just thought it was a temporary glitch .. I never would have imagined.

So so glad things will be all up up hill and glory from here on in right?

Unknown said...

So sorry you went through all that; glad there was a Tina to help you. Take care!

Yay! And I have to second your declaration of making 2011 not-sucky. Our year finally settled down, but that last half was definitely a doozy for us. And I'm sorry that woman took people's money and is hiding out. It's redonk.

Hooray for Deb! Boo to scammers! Yay for your positive attitude. All the best for a tremendous New Year. You deserve it! (And, by gawd, you look pretty in pink!)

Gigi said...

Yay! tina deserves mega-praise for being so fabulous! I'm so glad she helped you through this.

Because the internets is not the same without my Joann fix.

If/when the time comes to change your blog again, contact me and I will put you in touch with my designer who is awesome, honest and amazing.

And by the way...if you have another second to escape the Shit Show today...go check out my post today, because you're mentioned in it. At #1.

I'm glad that your got your blog mostly fixed. :) I was going to tell you that Boyfriend had offered his assistance, but I'm glad you got it sooner.

Mom vs. the boys said...

it's back and it's beautiful! thank god for angels! that was just so great of her to help like that, I would be lost and crying in a puddle too, I'm not techy at all!
Hope 2011 finds it's way back to a normal routine for you and your family.

Tracie Nall said...

Yay!! Tina-Angel rocks! Your blog looks all pretty and feels like home again. That is awesome!

I'm not even going to discuss the awful scammer who did that to you. Yuck!

Congrats on making Gigi's list. You deserve it!

randine said...

I'm glad your blog is back to it's old self! That is just awful what happened. How can people be so mean? I seriously lose sleep if I do something that might have offended someone.
I can't imagine just blatantly ripping someone off. Crazy.

Congrats on your blogging award! You deserve it. You're my favorite blogger!

Anyways, here's hoping that 2011 will be your year!

JoAnna said...

So glad you're back in all your delicious pinkness. You've got to have something fun when everything else feels like such a downer!

Jerry said...

Hurray for tina -- hurray for you. Welcome back to visual perfection.

Rebecca Grace said...

Thank God for angels, indeed. I believe in karma. There will always be an angel swooping to the rescue of kindhearted, generous spirits like you, and the crooks and swindlers of the blogosphere will get what they deserve eventually, too.

Thanks for posting about what happened to you to help others avoid being victimized!

Yay your back! Thank God for angels! Tina sounds like one! Can't wait to read more funny posts! Congrats on being awarded #1 funny blog! I could of told ya that! Traci

Cheeseboy said...

#1?! Get out! Well deserved. (I am standing on my couch and applauding you at this moment. My wife has given me one of those "looks".)

Does she have a man list? I wonder where I would rank?

This Teresa Brazell character sounds suspicious. I think we should put poop on her front door and light it on fire. Better yet, lets just throw the poop in her windows. On fire.

Dazee Dreamer said...

I am so glad you are back!!! and I'm loving the look.

I totally was upset for Noelle too. I dislike people so much that do crap like this to others. errrr

Art Chick said...

Thanks for the high praise, Joann. I was only too happy to help un-jack your blog for you. It's really just returning the gift you give me each time I read your blog...because you always make me smile or laugh, and those are wonderful gifts indeed.

Cari said...

Yay!! I'm so glad that your blog is back! This Tina sounds like an amazing person! I'm definitely going to check her out!

Lisa said...

Yay! You're back!

And also? Congratulations!! Woo Hoo!!

Judie said...

Well, I guess Teresa Brassier is on the run from the law right now! I am so happy that your blog is so successful, because you and I are friends, and so I can say, "Hey! That's my friend's blog that is so wonderful and awardwinning! Yes!! And if we ever run into Teresa Brassier, we will smack her right on her nose for messin' with you! Then we'll make a citizen's arrest, because we are friends with Noelle, too! Ha! How's that!

TesoriTrovati said...

Yea for angels! They are around us all the time. I am so glad that you are back to your rip roarin' self, Miss Joann. I took a blog hiatus for a few days so I missed the debacle. But I am breathing a sigh of relief for you. I hope that your senior troubles find a swift resolution. Starbucks is good anytime day or night. I say you invoke that sanity plea anytime you need it. Tell your hubby I said so.

So, SO glad that your mom is okay and on the mend. She needs to wake up to rock those earrings you gifted her (although if she is still groggy I say you can prance around the house in them.) ;-)

Enjoy the day, dear girl! No surprises that you are the damn funny! Going to check it out now!

I can't imagine the shock and horror of finding your blog in pieces. I'm so glad that your blog is back!

Glad your little corner of the world is looking great again. I hope your visitors leave soon so you'll get some peace and quiet, and I mean that in the NICEST way.

Yay for the old blog being back!

And that song is awesome. :) I usually don't recognize your music, but today's is a good one!

Yay for Internet angels and poop on Internet devils.

And yay again for making the list!!!

Hi Joann...so good to hear things coming right and you so upbeat.
You have been in my thoughts and prayers.
Hope your Mom is doing well.

Your blog looks great! Can't wait to read what 2011 has in store for you! Happy New Year!

Liz said...

That goodness for the kindness of others!

I hope everything gets straightened out and everyone healthy, so you can start off 2011 on the right foot and with proper quiet time. :)

I have been a lurker but I just had to comment because I am so glad that everything is back. It is amazing how some people can be son kind while others are so ruthless.

I have also had somewhat of a downward spiral towards the end of this year, so here's hoping for a brand new sparkly and happy 2011!

Bossy Betty said...

Yeah!!!! So great to hear some good news after all the trouble you've had. Tina Angel is indeed one to celebrate. I'll be thinking of you and your mama too! Congrats on your kudos!

Ash said...

Yeah Tina!!! Yeah Joann!!

I firmly believe that there is far more good in this world than bad. If that makes me a fellow "Rebecca" so be it, I'm glad to be in such great company. To go through life any other way would be unthinkable.

Come on 2011!!

I am glad your rescued. and I get what you said about trust. I learned once long ago and not the same since.

Your Pal from MA said...

Hi! I'm here via Bye, Bye Pie! I am "Your Pal From MA" over there and I see there are quite a number of us faithful BBP readers over here, as well!! How nice!

And, your blog is QUITE adorable and you now have a new faithful reader! I've seen the name of your blog elsewhere and decided to finally stampede over here to see what the hubub was all about!

I must say, I'm glad I did!

Now, on to actual comments: I am similarly Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm and totally believe in the inherent goodness of people. And then someone like your douchebag Teresa Brazell comes along and I get all confused! Like how is that possible? I am a good person, and therefore, badness is not going to come my way, right? So weird when it does.

Anyway, God bless your friend Tina and her selfless act of kindness to you. Teresa will be finding out about our friend KARMA...

Missy@Wonder, Friend said...

Sometimes people really suck. But just when I think the world is gone totally down the drain, a Tina comes along. Whew.

Happy (and, hopefully, peaceful) New Year!

Anita @ GoingALittleCoastal said...

So glad to see everything is up and running smoothly. Thank you Tina for making this pink wonder whole again.

And congrat to you my friend for the well deserved award! You are #1 in my book.

Yuliya said...

Looking good! Thank you Angel Tina!
Hope your Christmas was good (under the circumstances) and please have a bottle of wine for me on New Year's...nursing means I have to "limit" my alcohol intake...

Also? We are holding you to that Twitter promise. (But I warn you it is a time suck and a half)

Deborah said...

Tina! How marvelous. How AMAZING!

And I am cyber-poking out that other dame's eyes with hot sticks. She is a bad person and will get hers some day.

Sandra said...

OMG Joann, that horrible blog designer fiasco gives me the heebeejeebees. I'm glad all is back to where it should be and I hope it stays that way.

Breathe Gently said...

I am so glad you had your blog fixed, thanks to your angel. I had the same thing happen to me, thank goodness for a friend saving my images for me. I also recommended Teresa to a friend who paid her down payment, got a few token images to query, but then disappeared. No response to emails, no money back refund for not completing the design - just silence. If you could let me know if you or your friend get anywhere with Splendid Sparrow designs, I'd appreciate it. It's ridiculous.

Dawn in D.C. said...

So glad for your angel! And hoping there is a flock of angels around both your mothers.

Your new year will rock, of that I am sure!

Unknown said...

Oh Joann! I am so sorry this whole debacle even happened, but I'm relieved that your bloggy angel was here to help. I'm just like you---I'm naive and I tend to assume everyone is good. It stinks that this woman took your money and your blog and ran away. Total suckage.

But you're back and Tina rocks and that is really what matters!

Happy happy!
;-)

Kate Geisen said...

Yea for Tina!

And I'm so happy for you that some good things are happening for you now. I mean, I know good things are happening all the time, but good things right after sucky things are something special...that reminder that yes, things are right with the world.

Alexandra said...

Thanks for restoring our faith in humanity, Tina.

Truly.

And, Joann, who hooked you up with the bamboozler? Was she recommended?

I can't believe she'd do that, with the internet world being so mall and how fast viral news spreads.

What a dummy.

But Yay for Tina! Who is anything but an ordinary hero.

I was just thinking last night, I need a movie review post from Joann.

I love your movie reviews.

You so kick ass at that.

Do you take requests? Like, say,,,would you do...

INCEPTION?

Amazing! Amazing that anyone can do that kind of horrible crap to people and just start up again to do more horrible crap to new people! Amazing that your Tina Angel did all of that wonderful stuff for you, and during the holidays no less! Amazing that your Hubby has declared blogging/writing time for you and told the family to back off -- if he wasn't already married to your awesomeness, he'd probably have a bunch of Internet broads after him. I think you should head to Starbucks every day anyway. Just think of all the wonderful blogging material you could get with the people watching!

I say shut the front door ALL. The. Time!
